Toyota Fortuner review

This Toyota Fortuner is a turbo diesel model, and its engine is the same ones derived from the popular UTE Toyota hilux.

Fortuner and the hilux looks very similar and shares many components, but they drive very differently from one another.

When comparing to the hilux, you will quickly notice the more sophisticated ride, which is slightly more comfortable than the hilux but still relatively bumpy. This fortuner here uses a multi link beam type suspension with coil springs at the rear compared to hilux which uses a floating axle type on leaf springs.

Going off road in this thing is like a walk in the park. An 60kmh drive on gravel roads feels  relatively comfy due to its large tyres and stiff chassis, but crest and bumps still jolts the passenger violently which i suspect due to its stiff springs.
