In conjunction with the year end sale happening everywhere in K.L, my whole family had been going all out to spend all our hard earned money for 2009, and i've just learned that Y.E.S does not only extend to pavillion,KLCC,1utama and etc., even car dealers are dumping their old stocks. And today, i've been shopping with my uncle in one of the car dealer located in jalan gombak....And the funniest thing is, even the dealer is located 2 lampost away from my office, we decided to drive there in a KANCIL 850cc Auto.
Nissan Fuga 2.5
This is by far the prettiest 4 door nissan i've ever seen, It's got a 18' wheels, super squat, and that super white colour....OoooOOOOooo
Porsche cayenne 4.8s
21' rims, and 295 section tyres, Adrenalin-fed engine ---> B.A.D
Audi Q7 4.2s
cayenne=bad, Q7=GanGsta. If you see me driving this in your neighbourhood, you'll probably gonna see me doing this to you oo0oo
Mercedes Benz CLS350
Like all the other merc's, its not what i'd want to drive to school with, BUT i friggin love the sexy rear....and its toooo low, getting in and out is difficult
After spending nearly 2 hours, we came out with chequebooks still intact,....
Note: If you drive a kancil, dont ever bother to go visit these place, Nobody will ever come and LAYAN you...and also beware of the SEK.Q

My Panasonic Lumix LX3 camera mini review.
You may have read my post last week regarding me ditching my DSLR for a smaller cam, and now here it is ---> My new panasonic lumix LX3
The reason i bought this camera is because its currently the best compact camera there is. Some of you might argue that the current best is perhaps the Olympus Pen or the Panasonic lumix GF1, but both cost at least double the price of which if you go with the twin lens and flash gun, it'll triple the price. So if you're shopping for a compact cam below rm2000, it think its the best in the market.
*update* I've done my research on other compact cameras, and it seems that this is the most expensive compact camera on sale in Malaysia.
The first impression i had with this camera is that is quite solid, it felt like i was holding a slab of aluminum block. This camera feels kinda solid, not too heavy and its quite pocketable. But user have to beware that it will get slippery if your hands get wet or sweaty, as the rubber grip area is kinda small, and the steel like finish doesn't help you to grip it well.
As for the buttons, they are shinny and difficult to see, short on travel, and some are difficult to operate with one hand, but the buttons have a high quality feel to them, and no free play/looseness.
The best thing you'll immediately notice with this camera is that its got a good screen which offers high resolution and good contrast, and its currently the best i've seen in any camera/DSLR/camcorder.
The pictures taken from this camera is very very good, comparable even to a DSLR, but the thing that really distinguished the super compacts and the DSLR is during low light shooting, where at ISO 200 and above noise level will start to ruin your photos. Its probably best to stay away from taking low light photos. Its also got an absolutely wide angle lens at 24mm wide but the telephoto ability which is only at 60mm is close to useless.
After 3 days of using it, i can conclude that its probably the best compact camera there is out there, producing good pictures, being very adjustable, and pocketable, but one thing's for sure is that its still can't replace a DSLR for serious shootings.

Cop and mouse!!!!
I was reading the newspaper when i stumbled upon this column of " Cops want Bala's statement: We did not know PI had entered the country says IGP". This column had me questioning why oh why did the police not know if this fler had entered the country?
Let me refresh a bit for you on who the Bala is :
Balasubramaniam's claims were aired in an undated 88-second video clip today hosted by the Malaysia-Today.net website whose main contributor is the fugitive blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin. The first statutory declaration (SD) was also put up with the video clip.
"Deepak actually came to see me because he want me to retract my first SD... After that he offered me RM5 million for me to retract the SD," Balasubramaniam said in the video clip, referring to a person whom Raja Petra says is linked to Najib's wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.
Balasubramaniam, a former police officer, disappeared with his family on July 4, 2008 after making a second SD that overturned the first declaration. His location remains unknown until now.
The Malaysia-Today.net website said there will be more video clips featuring the Balasubramaniam interview. In the first part, the private investigator also claimed he was asked to go to Putrajaya to meet certain individuals over his SD.
"He was asking me to go to Putrajaya with him but he never mentioned whom he wanted me to meet in Putrajaya," Balasubramaniam said, referring to the country's administrative capital.

Balasubramaniam's two SDs had rocked the murder trial of Altantuya, who was killed on Oct 19, 2006. Three people, including political and defence strategist Abdul Razak Baginda, were arrested for plotting her death.
Obviously the IGP is saying something really really stupid, sounds like he's lying....Let me tell you Mr. IGP, you're the funniest police officer i've ever known.
Sometimes, i kept thinking on why there are so many illegal workers in Malaysia, after seeing this column, my question are all clearly answered." Saya tak tau"....... Thank you for solving the mystery.
Geminid meteor shower report 14/12/09
Speechless.... from this picture, all that i can say is that i live in a polluted city full of lights..
Yesterday was a disappointing night for me, stay up the whole night waiting for some stars that never seems to shoot by and not to mention are free buffet meals i gave to the mozzies last night.
From the picture above you can see that i've cranked up the ISO and slowed the shutter to brighten the sky, even with the exaggerated effect of brightening the whole thing there still no stars to be seen.
I'm sad to say that the pollution level in this city is now roof/KLCC/batu caves high....water not clean, air so dusty, politics so dirty, sky so bright.

Geminid Meteor Shower 13/12/09
GEORGE TOWN: Astronomy buffs who want to catch this year’s Geminid meteor shower should look to the skies this Sunday night.
Universiti Sains Malaysia’s Astronomy and Atmospheric Science Research Unit lecturer Associate Prof Dr Chong Hon Yew said the annual shower would be visible in the night sky to the naked eye in any direction.
This year’s shower should peak at 1pm local time on Monday, and be visible to western hemisphere observers such as in North America and South America.
“However, the Geminid shower has a broad peak of about one-and-a-half days and so, with good weather permitting and a waning moon, many meteors should be visible on Sunday night,” he said.
The Geminid meteor shower occurs every year between Dec 9 and 19, reaching its peak on Dec 13 and 14.
Dr Chong said the source of the Geminid meteors was from the asteroid 3200 Phaethon.
“Usually, meteor showers are caused by the debris of comets burning up in the Earth’s atmosphere.”
He also invited the public to join his team’s observations for free at the field next to the unit’s premises within USM, or the Pearl of Orion Observatory next to the Bukit Genting Hill Leisure Park and Restaurant in Balik Pulau, or the Lim Choon Kiat Private Observatory near Pulau Betong on Sunday night.
“We will be observing the shower from 9pm all the way to morning but the public can come and go any time,” Dr Chong said.

Bye Bye to my DSLR
I'm officially quitting the DSLR race, and now i'm looking for smaller cameras, and while uploading several photos into this blog, i'm actually multitasking as well, and now i'm scrolling thru several website to do some research on what i'm going to buy next, and so far here's the candidates:
-Panasonic Lumix LX3 (compact prosumer)
-Canon Powershot G11 (compact prosumer)
-Panasonic Lumix GF-1 (micro4/3)
-Olympus pen ep1(micro4/3)
The reason i'm quitting on my DSLR is because of its heft. This thing is so heavy and heavy, I cant put it in my car's mid console, and when i pack it into my Belkin messenger bag, i cant fit my laptop and my documents. Another important factor is that i dont walk around hanging my DSLR around my neck, coz it looks so UNCOOL, and that my friend, explains why i seldom update my RANDOM PICS section.
I know that this problems can be easily solved by investing in a bigger bag, but then, cari makan susah, have to berjimat cermat.

*Update*
After several hours of research, I've made my decision.\
And the honour of becoming my Honey will go to

Cari Makan susah #4
I was reading the good OL star newspaper when i stumbled upon this column. DRIVE TO BRING IN INVESTORS: MITI finds out why outsourced components higher than in Thailand.
This section caught my attention because i saw Granpa Muhyiddin's face there. If you have been following my blog, you'll know that i hated this fler, largely because he makes my life so miserable, and "bagi pecah mangkuk nasi orang"
Back to the newspaper column, This fler simple just blurt out word from thin air.... He's the MITI head, and you think he doesn't know what is going on ar? Please la DATUK muhyiddin, the RAKYAT's are not stewpet, even laymen knows that the reason thailand have cheaper part is partly because they have an unbiased/free industry.
Without healthy competition, the industry will not grow. In this case our local automotive sector will be a good example. Let me be honest with you, i'm currently working in the auto sector, and i have a lot of friends that does imports cars, trucks and autoparts and most of them are not doing well and some even halts and slow their businesses in order to wait for decisions from the GUV.
Non bumi car importers are not bringing in any new models because they have to buy AP's from rich/datuk/dato/tan sri bumiputra's which is now being increased by another Rm10k.
I'm told by my friend that it now cost around RM60k+ for an AP that the GUV sells to these rich flers at less than RM100. Return of investment is blardy roof high, and the money is all pocketed by these already rich datuks. Look....I'm not trying to be a racist here, but it seems that the AP system is build to feed the already wealthy MALAYs and not to help young Malays do business.
I say, get rid of these cronies, Free the AP to whoever that can afford to pay RM60k to the GUV,

I want to be a rockstar
When i was a kid, i used to asked my dad. "Daddy will i be a rockstar when i grow up?". Everytime when that question ever pop up, he'll just shook his head and say why do you want to be a rockstar when you can be an engineer, terus Potong Stim...
But now things have changed, ever since i've entered the world of the PS3, everything is possible. I can be micheal schumacher, jimmy hendrix, Mike tyson, or even tiger woods, but right now I'm only interested to ROCK
Seen here is the Rock band guitar from guitar hero bundle.
This thing makes ROckin so easy....screw the cord, damn the strings and pickup. Right now its just me, my guitar, and my ps3, and not to forget the godlike title...Guitar Hero World Tour.
I reckon this thing is gonna keep me rockin for months at least, before i try to challenge micheal schumacher.

I want one...
Wow..my first step into politics. Like every malaysian who's so curious to know where the billions and millions have gone, here's the answer.....
http://www.chichang.net/2009/09/budget-how-government-is-spending-our.html > grab a copy of his book at your local bookstore today.
I'm not affraid to tell you how F**ked up i am with the GUV. Well, I'm not active in politics, I support any nor do i know who's the MP in my area, bottomline...I just dont give a damn. But one thing i do know is lots of people are suffering now, I worked 11 hours a day and all i get is chicken feed, btu the fellas on top dont listen to our problem.
Let me give you an example of how my business is affected:-
The recent NAP policy stated that AP price will increase by RM10k, This makes the already expensive vehicles prices excessively expensive, and not to mention Japanese trucks/Lorries also needs AP. So do you think many small logistics operators can afford the increase?...Anyway if the 50 Grand price tag on AP's goes to the GUV then its OK, BUT in IsN'T--> I think the bulk of it goes to some big arse DATUK.
2nd (Stopping the import of used auto parts).--> basically asking kedai potong/used parts/spare parts dealer to F**k off. I'm begging you Mr GUV...since you BAN the retread tyres, lots of tyre retreaders had close shop coz of your decision, now you want to ask the part dealer to close ar? If they close, then u suppose the truck operators to buy new parts?
3rd (Crime rate) --> There had been several theft, burglary case in this area, and I'M ONE OF THE VICTIMS too. Well..I must say that the police did a great job, but it's not enough--> actually I think the police is not the one to blame, if you ask me i'll want to blame the GUV. Lots of people are losing their JOB, starving, desperate.....who do you think should be blamed?
